The EDPS (European Data Protection Supervisor), the European privacy watchdog, has opened two investigations before the weekend into the use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud services by European Union institutions, bodies, and agencies (EUIs) under Cloud II contracts.
