Data center provider DC BLOX, with presence across the U.S. Southeast, has expanded and enhanced its connectivity capabilities through the introduction of its DC BLOX Connectivity eXchange. 
Finnish Internet Exchange operator, TREX Regional Exchanges Oy (TREX), plans to grow its regional interconnection and peering infrastructure by deploying new IP routing systems with Nokia. 
In 2021, AMS-IX exchanged around 26,85 Exabytes of data, an increase of 18% over 2020. The increase is considerable, but it is less than the 35 percent increase predicted for ‘Corona year’ 2020.

The new service is aimed at providing easier connection to IX platforms and to make it faster and easier to order and pay for IX services from top Internet exchanges. This new IXaaS would also help to make it more flexible. DE-CIX, one of the world’s largest carrier and data center neutral Internet Exchange operators, has expanded its worldwide cooperation with Microsoft to include DE-CIX New York. This Internet Exchange in New York now provides “enhanced business-grade†connectivity to the Microsoft Azure Peering Service.
