A data breach at web hosting company GoDaddy may have exposed the personal information of up to 1.2 million clients. First GoDaddy and later on DigitalOcean have stopped providing web hosting services to the anti-abortion group’s whistleblower website in Texas, prolifewhistleblower.com. 
Global web hosting provider GoDaddy, in the second quarter, reported a total revenue of $931.3 million, representing an up of 15.5% Year over Year, or 14.3% on a constant currency basis. For the full year, GoDaddy expects to report revenue of approximately $3.75 billion, representing 13% year over year (YoY) growth. 
One of the world’s major Internet hubs, AMS-IX (Amsterdam Internet Exchange), is extending its data center presence in the Netherlands with two additional sites. They will add Points of Presence (PoPs) at Greenhouse Data Centers in Naaldwijk and Smartdc in Rotterdam 
Patrick Pulvermueller, a cloud software and hosting industry veteran, has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Acronis, a global provider of cyber security solutions, beginning July 1, 2021. Serguei Beloussov, who founded the firm in 2003 and has served as CEO since 2013, is succeeded by Mr. Pulvermueller.
